The Diploma of Beauty Therapy training allows our students to enter any area of beauty therapy with many students managing or operating their own salon / spa or working closely with medical practitioners
Graduates can also choose to sit an exam for international accreditation with the
International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC).
Course Duration
Full Time Classes
- 12 Months
- 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
- Plus 1 Day home study
- Work experience in student clinic
Part Time Classes
- 18 months
- 3 Days per week (Mon, Tues & Thurs - 5:30pm - 8.30pm)
- Plus 1 Day home study
- Work experience in student clinic
International Students
- Choice of 12 or 24 months
- 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
- Plus 1 Day home study
- Work experience in student clinic
Methods of Assessment
Assessment is undertaken on a continuous basis throughout the enrolment period and may include a combination of the following methods:- Practical Demonstrations
- Oral questions / explanations
- Role play
- Theory
- Treatment plans / Case studies
- Assignments

Salon Beauty Therapist
Gain valued knowledge and experience doing hands on practical work in all aspects of beauty therapy, such as facials, waxing, body massage etc.Salon Manager

Day Spa Therapist

We can upgrade your qualification by assessing your current skills and abilities.
To achieve this, you need to provide sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required to be achieved in the Unit of Competency. Practical assessments may be required.

Educators Qualifications
All our Beauty Therapy trainers have Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace training.
Course Requirements
- Senior First Aid certificate is organised by the college or done externally
- Attendance of product knowledge seminars as organised by the college
Work Experience
Experience is one thing salons often find lacking when students leave college. Fuss students gain essential practical skills and work experience in our Student Salon so they are well prepared and enter the workforce with confidence.
