CERTIFICATE III IN BEAUTY SERVICES (WRB30104)

Why study Certificate III in Beauty Services?

During the Certificate III in Beauty Services training course you will develop basic skills and knowledge to enter the beauty industry. You will be able to work with limited supervision to provide services such as nail technology, lash and brow treatments, temporary epilation and make-up.

Course Duration

Full Time Classes

  • 6 Months
  • 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
  • Plus 1 Day home study
  • Minimum of 75 Hours work experience in student clinic

Part Time Classes

  • Up to 12 months
  • 3 Days per week (Mon, Tues & Thurs - 5:30pm - 8.30pm)
  • Plus 1 Day home study
  • Minimum of 75 Hours work experience in student clinic

International Students

  • 9 months
  • 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
  • Plus 1 Day home study
  • Minimum of 1100 Hours work experience in student clinic

Assessment is undertaken on a continuous basis throughout the enrolment period and may include a combination of the following methods:
  • Practical Demonstrations
  • Oral questions / explanations

  • Theory
  • Treatment plans / Case studies

Recognition of Prior Learning

We can upgrade your qualification by assessing your current skills and abilities.

To achieve this, you need to provide sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required to be achieved in the Unit of Competency. Practical assessments may be required.

All our Beauty Therapy trainers have Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace training.


Course Requirements

  • Senior First Aid certificate is organised by the college or done externally
  • Attendance of product knowledge seminars as organised by the college
