With the Certificate II in Nail Technology training course you will develop skills and knowledge for a career in Nail Technology. Graduates will be competent to offer manicure and pedicure services; acrylic and gel nail enhancements and nail art techniques.
The nail industry requires the highest standard of training and constant updating of OH&S safety issues. Our College is accredited by the
Australian Professional Fingernail Association (APFA). To maintain highest standards we recommend that students become members of the association as well.
Course Duration
Full Time Classes
- 3-4 Months
- 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
- Plus 1 Day home study
- Work experience in student clinic
International Students
- 4½ Months
- 3 Days per week (9:00am - 4:30pm)
- Plus 1 Day home study
- Work experience in student clinic

Recognition of Prior Learning
We can upgrade your qualification by assessing your current skills and abilities.
To achieve this, you need to provide sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills required to be achieved in the Unit of Competency. Practical assessments may be required.

All our Beauty Therapy trainers have Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace training.
Course Requirements
- Senior First Aid certificate is organised by the college or done externally
- Attendance of product knowledge seminars as organised by the college
